- Confirm Proof was installed correctly.
- Restart After Effects.
- Confirm your After Effects version is supported.
- Make sure the active comp contains text layers.
- Try a different scan scope.
- If scanning selected layers, confirm text layers are selected.
- Confirm the layer is not locked.
- Rescan if text changed after the original scan.
- Confirm the layer still exists and has not been renamed or moved in a way Proof cannot resolve.
- Confirm a dictionary is installed and enabled.
- If importing manually, confirm you selected matching
.aff and .dic files.
