Quick Start
1. Add your textures
Section titled “1. Add your textures”Import one or more texture images and place them in a composition. Scale and position each texture so it covers the area you want to fill.
2. Select the texture layers
Section titled “2. Select the texture layers”In the Timeline panel, select every texture layer you want to animate. Texture Looper can process multiple selected layers in one pass.
3. Apply Texture Looper
Section titled “3. Apply Texture Looper”Open Window > Texture Looper, then click the panel button. Texture Looper adds its controls and animation setup to each selected layer.
4. Adjust the animation
Section titled “4. Adjust the animation”Select a processed layer and open Effect Controls. Start with these controls:
- Increase FPS to change the texture more frequently.
- Increase Random Rotation to create more rotational variation.
- Increase Random Offset to move the texture farther in X and Y.
- Change Random Seed to generate a different variation.
Enable Mirror Edges if a non-seamless texture reveals edges as it moves. Use Levels to adjust the texture’s contrast.
