Does it work with ChatGPT?
Section titled “Does it work with ChatGPT?”Yes, with the ChatGPT desktop app on Windows or macOS. Setup registers Ground Control with it, and it appears under Settings > MCP servers. ChatGPT in a browser or on a phone cannot run it, because Ground Control has to run on your own machine to reach After Effects.
How many machines can I use?
Section titled “How many machines can I use?”Two per key. Deactivate a machine from its own License window to free the seat.
What happens if my membership ends?
Section titled “What happens if my membership ends?”Your key stops validating. The panel gives you a heads-up and a month of grace before it stops taking commands, so nothing is cut off mid-project.
Does my project leave my machine?
Section titled “Does my project leave my machine?”No. Scripts run locally, the project backup is a local file, and your notes folder is yours. The panel contacts the internet only to check your license, fetch What’s New, and send feedback you write yourself.
Can my AI damage my project?
Section titled “Can my AI damage my project?”Every run is one undo step, a backup of the project file is saved before any run that changes it, and scripts run only from approved folders after a safety check. See What protects your project.
Where do I send feedback?
