Get Preset Browser

Download Preset Browser free at jakeinmotion.com/preset-browser. There is no license key to enter.

The download is a .zip holding the extension (PresetBrowser-1.0.0.zxp), LICENSE.txt, THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, and a README.md.

Install the extension

1. Quit After Effects.
2. Install the .zxp with a ZXP installer, such as the free aescripts ZXP Installer. See Installing ZXP Extensions.
3. Start After Effects and open Window > Extensions > Preset Browser.

The extension is signed, so it installs without turning on any developer mode.

Preset Browser requires After Effects 2024 or newer, on Windows or macOS.

Updating

Install the new .zxp over the old one the same way. Your favorites, collections, and previews are kept: they live outside the extension.

The About sheet (Menu > About, in the panel’s footer) says when a newer version is available and offers Get the update.
