Does it include Adobe’s presets?
Section titled “Does it include Adobe’s presets?”No. It finds the presets already installed with your After Effects and applies them from there. It never ships or copies Adobe’s preset files. The previews that come with the panel are original.
Does it work with my own presets?
Section titled “Does it work with my own presets?”Yes. Everything in your User Presets folder is listed under User presets. Add .ffx files there and click Scan. See Add your own presets.
Is it free?
Section titled “Is it free?”Yes, free for any work, commercial included, with no license key. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage it, and the one place to get it is jakeinmotion.com/preset-browser.
Which versions of After Effects does it support?

Why do I see different presets in different After Effects versions?
Section titled “Why do I see different presets in different After Effects versions?”Each version is scanned on its own, from its own install and its own User Presets folder. Favorites and collections are shared between them.
Where is my data stored?
Section titled “Where is my data stored?”Favorites, collections, Recent, settings, and your previews:

~/Library/Application Support/JakeInMotion/AEPresetBrowser
Previews are in its previews folder. Updating Preset Browser or After Effects leaves all of it in place.
