Multiple Panels
Window > Extensions lists four panels: Code Runner, Code Runner 2, Code Runner 3 and Code Runner 4. They are copies of the same panel. Open as many as you want, and dock them wherever you like.
One library, four views
Section titled “One library, four views”All four share one library. A button you add, edit, rename or rearrange in one shows up in the others right away, and so does a restored backup.
What each panel keeps to itself: its active collection, its view and button size, its grid options, which folders are open, and buttons-only mode. So Code Runner 2 can sit narrow on a grid of icons while Code Runner shows a list.
Settings under Menu > Settings > Preferences are shared by all four, and a change in one reaches the others immediately.
Open one
Section titled “Open one”From Window > Extensions, or from a panel’s flyout menu (the hamburger on the panel tab) with Open Code Runner 2. Every panel lists the other three.
After Effects restores docked panels with the workspace, so a panel you dock is there next time.
After installing
Section titled “After installing”The extra panels appear only after After Effects has been restarted following the install. Picking Open Code Runner 2 before that raises a notice saying so. See Troubleshooting.
