The panel menu
Section titled “The panel menu”The Menu button in the footer opens Help, Settings, Submit feedback, and About.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Settings has two tabs: Collection holds the things that travel with a collection you share, Preferences the things that stay on this computer.
Collection
Section titled “Collection”- Appearance: the default look for the whole collection, including per-type icons and colors, fill, outline, label color, and corner roundness. Buttons and folders can override these individually; see The Button Editor.
- List buttons: button alignment (Left, Center, Right) and icon position (Left, Right), shown live in the preview beside them. List mode only.
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”- Easing: whether a multi-point ease’s new keyframes snap to whole frames. See Ease Buttons.
- View: whether each collection remembers its own view, size and grid options. See Collections and Folders.
- Editing: whether Alt-click opens a button’s editor. A button that binds Alt to an action of its own runs that action either way, and edit mode and the right-click menu always open the editor.
Reset all to defaults reaches across both tabs.
Button size lives in the footer, next to the view switch — a slider you adjust while looking at the result.
Preferences are shared by all four panels: change one and the others follow right away. See Multiple Panels.
What’s New
Section titled “What’s New”The bell in the footer shows news and update notices — a dot means something unread. When a new version is out, the notice links straight to the download. Checking is automatic and silent; nothing interrupts your work.
Feedback
Section titled “Feedback”Menu > Submit feedback sends a bug report, feature request, or general note directly from the panel — the fastest route to getting something fixed.
Help and About
Section titled “Help and About”Help is a quick in-panel reference for everything on this site. About shows the version you are running.
